Will the RS/6000 support a T1 running SNA.

Question:

Customer wants to attach a T1 line to an ARTIC card (\#7008) and run
SNA over the T1.

Response:

AIX SNA Server/6000 and AIX SNA Services/6000 do not support the Artic
card so the fastest SDLC speed for AIXSNA is 64KB on the MPQP.

TPS's SNA supports SDLC speed for AIXSNA is 64KB on the MPQP. TPS's
SNA supports the MPQP with standard AIX device drivers and with TPS's
Portmaster driver. With the AIX device drivers the adapter has the
same speed restriction, but with the TPS/Portmaster driver, TPS's SNA
supports upto 1.54Mb (T1 line) with a V.35 connection.  TPS also sells
an ARTIC card with their own drivers which is supported by their SNA.
The ARTIC card supports 2,4,6,and 8 ports.  T1 links are supported
only on the 6-port V.35 interface board.
