Where can I find adobe curior fonts?

Question:

Level : 3.2.4

I am using an X-Station and I have an application, X3270, which is
coming up with warnings that adobe-courier-medium-r-normal-12-iso8859-1
is not found. This is also true with sizes 14 and 18. This application
needs these font and I don't know where they are. Can you tell me where
to find them or how to create them? I have searched through the
/usr/lib/X11/fonts directory and the fonts.dir file and could not find
this font in the file or directory.

Response:

The adobe courier fonts can be found in two directories:

/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi

Here are the entries from the fonts.dir file from both of these
directories:

courR12.pcf.Z -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--12-120-75-75-m-70-iso8859-1
courR14.pcf.Z -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-90-iso8859-1
courR18.pcf.Z -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--18-180-75-75-m-110-iso8859-1

Response:

You need to check your font path with the command: "set -q"
and see if /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi or /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi
is in that list.

If not, add these paths to your font path with the following commands:

xset fp+ /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi
xset fp+ /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi
