Using ATE and cannot use Function keys in VT100 emulation

Question:

User is using VT100 emulation mode in the ATE application to connect
to a remote system, but the F1-F4 keys are not being recognized as
they should.

The top four keys in the numeric keypad are used for the F1-F4 keys in
VT100 emulation since they are the actual physical location of the
F1-F4 keys on an actual VT100. When using these keys, the proper
function key sequences were generated.

Customer was not pleased with having to use these keys - he wants to
use the F1-F4 keys instead. Showed him how to create an NLS map file
that could be used to remap the keys instead:

1) Create a file /usr/lib/nls/termmap/vt100.in which includes the
   following lines:

       \\33133001q:\\33OP
       \\33133002q:\\33OQ
       \\33133003q:\\33OR
       \\33133033q:\\33OS

2) Use the command "setmaps -i vt100" to activate the terminal map if
logged in as root, or change the tty characteristics of the port
using SMIT to add "vt100" to the "Input MAP FILE" field. After logging
off and on again, he map will be automatically used.

F1-F4 will now generate the sequences "ESC O Q", "ESC O P", etc.
