Because of the date I don't believe this to
be the cause.
Running Commondesk top environment.
\#lsps -a --> one paging lv with 64 MB on hdisk4 at 60%
Faxing paging.space.tips.lxp to 912-471-5099
Suggested increasing Paging Space
lsattr -El sys0 --> maxmbuf 0
no -a --> thewall = 16384
We increased the ps by 2 LV on other disks.
Now the lsps -a is down to 1%.

*CUSTOMER REP: Jerry
PROBLEM: -- need help to configure the en2 en0 even if they sre slow
-- since cust needs the printserver to activate
*ACTION TAKEN:
netstat -rn has all the double lines -- for lo0
en2 has four lines --
lssrc -a !pg
inetd portmap routd timed xntpd dpid2 muxatmd are active stopsrc -g
tcpip startsrc -s inetd
flushued the routing --
ifconfig en0 down and detach -- same thing on en2 and lo0
rmdev -l en0 as well as en2 lo0
rmdev -l en0 -d sa well as en2 lo0 inet0
rmdev -l ent0 ent1 ent2
cfgmgr -v
-- then configure the en2 and en1
tn en2 interface was slow --- but it does not matter at this point
-- any way I checked the netstat -m:
45 mbufs in use:
0 mbuf cluster pages in use \<-----
- this explained to me i.e some thing
wrong
- with network parameters --
11 Kbytes allocated to mbufs
0 requests for mbufs denied
0 calls to protocol drain routines
checked the /etc/rc.net had the following set:
\# /usr/sbin/no -o tcp_sendspace=16384
\# /usr/sbin/no -o tcp_recvspace=16384
/usr/sbin/no -o tcp_sendspace=1180
/usr/sbin/no -o tcp_recvspace=1140
had the cust to change them back to default:
/usr/sbin/no -o tcp_sendspace=16384
/usr/sbin/no -o tcp_recvspace=16384
suggested shutdown -Fr --- ---!!!!!!! Guess what !!!!!!!!!!--- now the
problem has been resolved -
telnet works fine as normal as default system ---
cust asked me how those values got changed --- Some one must have
changed who has the root access on the system ---
*ACTION PLAN: any other questions? no
