sysrestore command is removing files

Question:

Env:
  AIX 4.2.1
  RISC 390
  sysback 4.1.1.8
  Tape 8mm 5gb 7208-011

Problem:
  The customer created a filesystem backup using the mkjfsback command.
  When the customer tried to restore one file, directory or a filesystem it
  wiped out the filesystem completely
  Should it remove all the data within a filesystem, if the user is only
  going to restore one file or one directory??? Below is output
  from this:

Action Taken:
  I did several tests with the command:

-------
TEST 1:
-------
Tried to restore just one file, using all the default flags.
It zero'ed out my data in the filesystem.
Command syntax below and output:

COMMAND:    /usr/sbin/sysrestore -Nn -f/dev/rmt0 -tRegular_File -x /images/sysba
ck.out
START TIME: Jul 15 07:49:52
END TIME:   Jul 15 07:50:28
STATUS: Failed with return code 255

      ============== Command Output ==============
Retrieving backup header information ..
Checking backup contents ..

NOTE: Estimated restore time assumes reading of entire backup.
        Actual restore will end when all requested data has been restored.

Clearing filesystem files for incremental level 0 restore ..
Clearing /images filesystem ..

   Restoring from /images filesystem ..

      ========== Command Error / Status ==========

                               ESTIMATED PROGRESS

An error occured during the restore. All or part of the
requested data may not have been restored!

------
TEST 2
-------
I tried to restore just the filesystem using all the default flags
Once again it zero'ed out my data in the filesystem, before restore
the other data.

==================================================================
COMMAND:    /usr/sbin/sysrestore -Nn -f/dev/rmt0 -tFilesystem -x /images
START TIME: Jul 15 07:54:47
END TIME:   Jul 15 07:54:48
STATUS: Failed with return code 1
  ============== Command Output ==============
Retrieving backup header information ..

      ========== Command Error / Status ==========

The specified backup is an incremental level 0. You may only
restore specific files from this backup unless you also select
the "Allow restore of incremental backup?" option or use the
-y flag with this command.

------
TEST 3
-------
I tried to restore just one directory using all the default
flags Once again it zero'ed out my data in the filesystem,
before restore the other data.

===============================================================
COMMAND:    /usr/sbin/sysrestore -Nn -f/dev/rmt0 -tDirectory -x /images/bak
START TIME: Jul 15 07:57:05
END TIME:   Jul 15 07:58:03
STATUS:     Successful

      ============== Command Output ==============
Retrieving backup header information ..
Checking backup contents ..

NOTE: Estimated restore time assumes reading of entire
        backup. Actual restore will end when all requested
        data has been restored.

Clearing filesystem files for incremental level 0 restore ..
Clearing /images filesystem ..

   Restoring from /images filesystem ..

      ========== Command Error / Status ==========

This will be fixed with sysback.rte 4.1.1.9 and
sysback.rte 4.1.0.1011 (trial copy)
