Issues with the sysback -Bf /dev/rmt0 command
Question:
Env:
AIX 4.2.1
sysback 4.1.1.5
Tape 4mm 2gb
Problem:
I ran this command:
sysback -Bf /dev/rmt0 -T rspc -k mp
It produced this output:
Rewinding /dev/rmt0 ...
WARNING: The "System Backup and BOS Install Utilities" must be installed
to create a bootable tape. The tape will be created, but will
not be bootable. You must create alternate boot media to install
from this backup.
Changing tape block size to 512 ..
Creating non-bootable tape ...
It should have failed since the fileset bos.sysmgt.sysbr was not installed.
I realize why this type of code is in the command, but should always fail
if the -B flag is use else successful if not used.
This will be fixed in \#6 to fail if only creating a bootable tape.
