Can't open more than 16 xterms, running out of PTY's

Question:

Going to be doing a stress test this afternoon, need to get about 100
users on the systems:

She is running out of pty's when trying to open more than 16 xterms.

The xterm uses the BSD style PTY entry in /dev.  This is limited to 16
by default.  You can, via smit, increase this number to a max of 64
(larger, >2000, if you change an entry in ODM).

For the purposes of their tests, they are going to be telnetting or
loging in via rlogin.  These 2 programs will use the AIX multiplexed
version on the PTY.  With this, pty's are dynamically allocated for
use and they will not run into an artificial limit of 16.
