How do I start Network Manager 6000 automatically at reboot?
Question:
I need for Network Manager 6000 to start automatically when the system
is booted. I am at AIX level 3.2.3.
Response:
Add the following to the end of /etc/inittab:
rcalert:2:wait:/etc/rc.alert > /dev/console 2>&1
Note that this is assuming that SNA Services is already being started
in /etc/inittab.
Create the file /etc/rc.alert containing the following:
startam -pamcurrprof &
Note that this file should be owned by root and have -rwxr-xr--
permissions.
