Can the switch desktop option be disabled?

Question:

Customer would like to disable the switch desktop.   Desktop starts in
the power mode.

Response:

Edit the /usr/lpp/xdt3/En_US/xdtsysinfo file (or the $HOME/.xdtuserinfo
file if you copied xdtsysinfo there) and search for "Switch Desktop".

Change the two lines to look like the following:

%//  menu_item: Switch Desktop _w__
%//  { pull_off_menu=SetDesktopMenu }

The %// is the comment mark for the deskshell language.

After XDesktop is restarted, the "Switch Desktop" menu item will not 
appear.
