sysrestore[798]: 52144 26198 syntax error

  Sysback 4.2.1 AIX 4.2.1 
  9076 SP

CUSTOMER REP:  Pete R

PROBLEM:  Full system backup nightly to 3590 tape drive.
The native format 10GB uncompressed.  Machine 70GB. 
Trying to recover file using smitty.  Using a filesystem
restore , got message from sysrestore which says:

  sysrestore[798]: 52144 26198 syntax error

Looks like the shell has a problem interpreting the list.


ACTION TAKEN:   Had him run the command from the command line - failed
                with the same error. Turn on debugger for sysback -->
                export SBDEBUG=1. He will E-Mail the output to me.
                sysrestore -vf /dev/rmt0 -tR \ 2>&1 | 
                tee /tmp/output

CUSTOMER REP:   Peter

ACTION TAKEN:   Call customer. The problem is that the backup was done
                on sysback.4.2.1 and he is trying to restore using
                sysback.4.1.1.9. Install 4.2.1 and it works, now.
