printing large job 0781-086 termination code=15

ENV: AIX 3.2.5, Model 42T

DESC: Using rembak to print to another AIX host.
Small jobs work great. Now I need to print some large jobs and I 
am getting this error:
 qdemon waring 0781-086 backend /usr/lib/lpd/rembak 
 failed with termination status 015

ACT: Checked the qconfig setup.
tn to remote host.
lpd is up, printer is available.
df
shows a pretty small /var filesystem
Send job to host, and monitor the filesystem with df
Shows it reaching 100% used.
Get the error message back.
Increase /var 
re-submit job
Job printed this time.
Send a few more large ones, they all printed.
Advised her to monitor the /var filesystem on the system.
May need to have some cleanup done on it also.
