nls vector file error with enscript command

env: model 43P
     AIX 4.1.4. 

desc: when executes enscript -dqueuename filename,
      the job prints fine but gets error: 
      1007-551 nls vector file error.

act: 
     found some silmilar problems.   There was a mention
     to a gl datastream referred to as vector graphics language.
     so wondering if the printer is in some other mode.
     The printer, an IBM 4303 color network printer. 
     Does the printer possibly support some vector graphics 
     language or also, would it make a difference whether or not
     it was printed in color?

     Customer is not aware of any other data stream 
     mode other than pcl and ps. whether or not they print in
     color does not seem to make a difference. if applications
     generate the post script files or the pcl files and send the
     jobs they print fine, this only occurs if enscript is used.


     try enscript -p /tmp/motd.ps /etc/motd.

     
     The error was the same as before.     
     compared customer's enscript command against a local lab machine's

      his file sizes and groups were different. also checked
      the following:

ACT:    The enscript command is in /usr/bin and also requires that 
        /usr/lib/ps/enscript.pro be on the system in order to work.
        If it is not in those directories get your install media and load
        bos.txt.ts 4.1.0.0 to the system and this will install enscript.

      he did not have the enscript.pro file. he is attempting to load 
      from media....

      getting permission errors loading bos.txt.ts....
      cannot restore file/usr/lib/ps/NLSvec cannot write to directory.

     had to run install attempt twice to get results.
     we theorize that the enscript command was pulled from 
     a 3.2.5. system which would explain the error and why
     the first install attempt bombed.

     he is able to use enscript now. cwca.
