DESC:
Users dialing into this modem are disconnected after a period of
inactivity.  How do I disable this?

ACT:
checked for TMOUT shell variable, but it was 0 so the ksh wasn't
logging users out after an idle time.

The Hayes Accura modem has an S regsiter (ATS30) which is an
inactivity timeout in the modem's hardware.  Suggested we cu -ml tty\#
to the modem and do ATS30? to see how this setting is set.  You don't
have BNU installed on your machine to get cu.  Suggested installing
bosext1.uucp.obj (for AIX 3.2.x) and doing a cu to the modem, and
check the modem's S30 register.

The ATS30 was set to 24 (4 minutes).  After correcting the modem's
profile, it is not disconnecting after an idle period.
