chdev put the tape drive in a defined state

Question:

ENV:
  AIX 4.2
  RISC 7013
  Tape 8mm 5gb 7208-011
  devices.scsi.tape.rte 4.2.0.5

 PROBLEM:
  The customer runs this command:
  chdev -l rmt0 -a block_size=1024
The tape drive goes to a defined tape

*ACTION TAKEN:
  I had do this:
  cfgmgr
The tape drive came back to a available tape
. /etc/methods/ucfgdevice -l rmt0
  /etc/methods/chggen -l rmt0 -a block_size=1024
  /etc/methods/cfgsctape -l rmt0
The cfgsctape command did not work, it left the tape
     drive in a defined state.

WORKAROUND:
I had the customer download my copy of cfgsctape (devices.scsi.tape.rte
                                                 4.2.0.0)
This worked for the customer.
The customer is running devices.scsi.tape.rte 4.2.0.5

Placed on order for this APAR which should fix this
problem.
