Customer does a network boot over his token-ring from
a C10 to a 59H and is getting these error messages

cp: /usr/lpp/sysback/boot/sysinit: No such file or directory
cp: /usr/lpp/sysback/inst/sysmain: No such file or directory
chmod: /etc/sysmain: No such file or directory
chmod: /etc/sysinit: No such file or directory
   /sbin/rc.boot[300]: /etc/sysinit: not found

Action:
I checked to make sure those files exist on the
server system which they did. I then noticed that the customer
has a /usr/lpp/sysback filesystem. This is our problem.
When sysback boots over the network, it will nfs mount
/usr to the client, so the sysback programs in
/usr/lpp/sysback are not part of this nfs mount like
the sysback program expect. I had the customer do this
remount this filesystem to /temp. I then copied all of
the main sysback binaries over to /usr/lpp/sysback.
I then had the customer change the mount point to something
other than /usr/lpp/sysback. This corrected the problem

Next Action:
  Closing with customer approval
