3004-008 cannot set process credentials

Env:
  RISC 570 (client) J30 (server)
  AIX 4.1.4
  Sysback 3.3.3.6

Desc:
   Customer installed a uniprocessor (570) from a sysback
   tape that was made on an SMP (J30). Now he can't login.
   He gets error: 3004-008 cannot set process credentials
   He is also getting error messages when the subsystems get
   started.

Action:
   The customer tried the same method using a mksysb which failed
   in the same manner as the sysback tape.

   On the J30 I had the customer run these commands:
     lslpp -l bos.rte.mp -> 4.1.4.14.
     lslpp -l bos.rte.up -> 4.1.4.0

    The fix now would be to get the appropriate 4.1.4.14 up kernel
    U443371 so that the bos.rte.up and bos.rte.mp match.

    Once that fix was added to the J30 and the system was rebooted,
    backup created, and restored on the 570 it corrected the
    problem

Next Action:
  Closing with customer approval
