Usage: mkboottape -d device [-h hostname]

Question:

Env:
  AIX 4.1.4
  RISC C10
  Tape: 8mm 5gb
  sysback 3.3.1.24

Desc:
  Command being run:
  sysback -f/dev/rmt0 -x -Trspc -M

  also failed in smit too
   Error:
Usage: mkboottape -d device [-h hostname]

Action:
The syntax of the mkboottape command is:
  mkboottape -d /dev/rmt0.1 -T rspc
It appears either the sysback command is making the wrong
call or the mkboottape.sh script is. It will be easier to
  correct the mkboottape.sh script.

In the script mkboottape.sh you use a -m flag not -T
so the change to the mkboottape.sh I changed to use a -T
instead of a -m

Changes included this:

In the getoptions() function in the script:
/usr/sbin/mkboottape.sh

you will have to change what is below:

 set -- `getopt vBd:k:T:h:V: $* 2>/dev/null

-T) platform=$2

Next Action:
  Sending defect report to TJ
  Fixed in sysback 3.3.1.25
  Closing pending call back
