Fkeys problem tn aix41 to AIX 3.2

Desc:
Customer has telneted from his AIX 4.1 system from a desktop window
to another AIX machine running AIX 3.2.5 and is running SMIT.  However,
his F3 key is not allowing him to cancel.  After telnetting  His TERM type 
is set to vt100.

Action:

On the AIX 4.1 system his term type is ldterm.  This is not a defined term
type under AIX 3.2.5.  If he opens an aixterm before the telnet, then
everything should work fine.
aixterm &
from the aixterm 'tn to 32.5.'
echo $TERM shows aixterm.

Now smit works fine.

Also suggested that they copy dtterm.ti from the
AIX 4.1 system to the AIX 3.2 system and tic this
and this should work when he telnets over next
time.
