0516-796 and 0516-862 Errors when making a volume group

Environment: R24 running AIX 4.1.4

Description: Customer trying to make a volume group on some 4.5gig
7133 SSA disk drives. Tried to create this through SMIT and got this
error message:

        "0516-796: mkvg: making hdisk32 a physical volume"
        "0516-862 mkvg: unable to create volume group, failed"

Action: Had him try to create this VG from the command line, since
SMIT will not neccesarily give you ALL the error messages.
Determined that the actual error messages included a message saying
that the PP size was too small. You cannot have more than 1016 PP's
per physical volume. Using the default PP size for 4.5gig drives
would violate this. Had him use a larger PP size and this worked
with no errors.
