Configuring 3494 tape library control point

QUES: Customer needs to configure the library management control point
for the 3494 tape library. The 3494 is attached via ethernet
       to a 9076 SP system.
.ANS: Customer has two tape drives showing up as available, and has
two tape drives installed in the 3494. Customer has the tape
units in the 3494 SCSI attached to one SP2 node, and the 3494
control point is attached to the SP2 frame's internal ethernet.
. lslpp -ah Atape.driver shows level 2.4.4.0
lslpp -ah atldd.driver shows level 2.4.1.0
These drivers are downlevel, but should be sufficient to get
        the lmcp configured.
. Customer does not have the /etc/ibmatl.conf file configured.
. Customer will use the following format for his /etc/ibmatl.conf
        file:
. \<3494 library name> TAB \ TAB \
. \<3494 library name> is user-defined.
\ is listed in netstat -in as the en0 interface on
the SP2 node that the 3494 tape units are SCSI
                     attached to.
\ is what is returned by the 'hostname' command on
the SP2 node that the 3494 tape units are SCSI
                   attached to.
. After creating the /etc/ibmatl.conf file, we went into SMIT
to add a tape drive of type 'control point'.
.
After adding the tape drive, the control point, lmcp, shows
up in lsdev correctly, but defined. Had customer run cfgmgr,
and this brought up the lmcp as available.
