SNMP V2 and NetView V4.1

Does NetView Support SNMPV2?

Information:

As I am sure you are aware, the SNMPV2 standards group was not able
to decide on a standard, and the standards group has been disbanded
for a year (!).

We hope to put out a PTF that does one of the following
 two things:

   1) Support SNMP V"1.5" - this is basically V2 without security.
      It is the security part of V2 that the standards body cannot
      agree upon.  The advantages are the things like "getbulk", etc.

   2) Support our own defacto V2 standard.  This will be very big
      news if it happens.  We will basically say "forget the standards
      group - we'll create our own standard".  Work is underway
      with other vendors to support our defacto standard.
