U438905 PTF client installation hangs

Question:

 Problem:

 When doing an install of the U438905 PTF by "pushing" the client from
 the server, the installation hangs after displaying the message 'nettl
 startup completed' message.

 Cause:

 This will happen if the Client's hostname (as specified through the
 TCP/IP configuration panel in SMIT) differs from the Client hostname
 the user specified when "pushing" the Client from the Server (through
 the SMIT installation screen).

       Solution:

 Most likely, the hostname on the Client is wrong.  Telnet to the
 client, then use the SMIT TCP/IP screens to correctly set the hostname
 of the Client.
