aix 3.2.3/trying to do remote communication between risc 128 port
 controller   to 16 port concentrator

adapter.  He is using a T1 line and Paradyne 3164 DSU.  This dsu has a
db25 connector that uses EIA-530.  What cable does he need to connect
this to the RAN unit?

ACT: He already has the pinouts of the NE, NF cables.  These are for
EIA-232.

NEXT: customer will fax in the pinout of the db25 connector on his
Paradyne.  researching..

ACT: talked with customer again, and I was mistaken about the V.35.
The only description he has of the port on the Paradyne is EIA-530,
DB25 port.  waiting on fax still.

The customer has a DSU/CSU pair that requires the use of EIA-530 
protocol for data transfer.  The customer is interested in using these
with the 128 port async adapter.  They have a remote site they are
trying to bring on-line.

ACT: 

Unfortunately this type of protocol is unsupported on the 128 port 
async adapter.  However, I have obtained a copy of the EIA-530 standards
and comparing what EIA-530 requires with what the 128 port adapter
requires the following pinout was constructed:  (This pinout has not
been tested, and is unsupported)
