How to run getty and SLIP on the same tty?

        AIX 3.2.5
        DESC:
        Trying to setup SLIP and getty on the same tty.  Can
        this be done?

ACT:
        This cannot be done with AIX's implementation of SLIP
        directly - but there is a public domain utility which
        will enable you to do this.

        Get the latest version of sliplogin_aix325.tar.gz

        This allows you to run getty on a port (enable login = enable)
        and have a userid, say "slip" that starts an slattach as the
        initial program to run as opposed to a ksh.  When the user
        drops off the line, getty respawns and the next caller gets
        a normal login again.
