Env:    3.2.5.

Desc:   Increasing a filesystem or extending a logical volume, gets:

/etc/extendlv: /tmp/allocpin \#\#\#\#: cannot create
        where \#\#\#\# is a number

Action: Ran "df" to check for full filesystem; there are none.
        We tried removing a file in /tmp, and got an error saying that
        it could not remove the file.  We got I/O errors also, but 
        when we looked in the directory, the file had actually been
        removed.

        This is either filesystem or log device corruption.  Booting
        in service mode to run fsck and logform cleared up the problem.
