For elm were able to copy a vt100 entry as follows:
Took this entry:
d1|vt100|vt100-nam|vt100 w/no am:\\
        :am@:xn@:tc=vt100-am:
copied it after the d5 entry and changed as follows:
d6|vt220|vt220-nam|vt220 w/no am:\\
        :am@:xn@:tc=vt100-am:

Now elm recognizes the terminal and it works properly on my system

Action:  Customer called in to clarify what I sent to her.  I explained
        the changes, and they worked.
