Getting errors when installing from the network with sysback

Question:

Env:
   RISC: 3BT's
      one server and one client.
   Sysback 3.1.038

Desc:
Trying to use sysback as a network install server.
Two 3BT's one is defined as a server. The client can boot
and connect with the server but does not get an image to
choose from.

Desc:
He checked the permissions and they look ok. Server is
    at 3.1.0.38.

On the server do this:
host \

If you get this message:
host: 0827-801 Host name \ does not exist.

Then cd /etc
vi hosts
and add this entry to the bottom of that file example:

9.19.129.139 client_host_name.aix.dfw.ibm.com

Then reboot the client and start the process again

Response:

Situation seems to be going backward. Before he could connect to
the server and got the install menu
"SELECT SOURCE FOR VOLUME GROUP DATA"

But no files were listed to choose from.

Now after the last recomendation he gets the following message:

Configuring Network
No install options available on Server!
Selected server may not have been configured.

He did not make any other changes to the server. He is able to
ping from one to the other.

Response:

All install images on disk have to be called this:
  \.rootvg.all

  Also check the file:

  /usr/lpp/sysback/netinst/imagelist

Make sure the customer has this line in the file

  /usr/lpp/sysback/images/*

  That fixed the problem
