   Env: RISC---Token Ring---host

   Desc: We aretrying to start the link station, but after we
        start it, it dies almost immediately with the message:

        link station link_station_name became inactive

   Action: We have done a link station trace and the trace 
        indicated that link dies on XID negotiation. I told SE
        to send us his formatted trace files.

   Action:
                Trace gave us a sense code of 0806002C.  In the 'SNA Formats'
        book this code indicates: resource unknown, the request 
        contained a name or address not identifying a PU, LU, 
        SSCP, link, or lnik station.  Upon examining negotiation
        packets send, we've found that SSCP and RISC's CPnames 
        were the same.  I have told SE to change CP name on the
        RISC in the control point profile.
        After this link was established.
