The graPHIGS Programming Interface: Messages and Codes
About This Book
Terminology
The IBM graPHIGS Programming Interface may be
referred to in this manual as the graPHIGS API or the API. |
This manual is organized as follows:
- Chapter 1. General
Information --
describes the elements of the message
and the format used to document them.
- Chapter 2. Device-Independent
Messages --
contains the graPHIGS API messages 1-899 in numerical
order.
- Chapter 3. System Service
Messages --
contains the graPHIGS API system service messages
1000-1399 in numerical order.
- Chapter 4. Device-Dependent
Messages --
contains the graPHIGS API messages 2000-2999 in numerical order.
- Appendix A. Abend Codes for
the GDDM/graPHIGS API --
lists abend codes for the GDDM/graPHIGS API.
- Appendix B. Abort Codes for the
Personal graPHIGS API --
lists abort codes for the Personal graPHIGS API
- Appendix C. Non-Specific Subroutine Cross
References --
lists subroutines that could appear in an error message followed
by an asterisk, and explains the meaning of the asterisks.
