If the AIX product is installed on a system running AIX Version 4.1 or later, the AIX Licensed Program requires the virtual circuit license information. This information does not need to be supplied if the AIX product is installed on a system running AIX Version 3.2.5 or if the AIX Low Capacity product is installed.
To enter the X.25 license level, use the SMIT tool with the following path:
Software License Management
Manage X.25 Server License Database
A screen appears entitled Change/Show Number of X.25 Virtual Circuits.
In this screen, select one of the following license levels depending on the X.25 virtual circuit license purchased.
Once this information is entered, X.25 ports can be configured on the system.
