The DirectTalk Text-to-Speech Server package provides the server part of the support for dynamically converting text into synthesized speech. This package is an optional feature of the DirectTalk/6000 product and consists of a single fileset, dirTalk.TTS_Server.
The DirectTalk Text-to-Speech Server software requires approximately 0.7MB of disk space.
Requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.
The default userid dtuser will be created during the installation of the DirectTalk Text-to-Speech fileset if it does not already exist.
The default userid dt6tts will be created during the installation of the DirectTalk Text-to-Speech fileset if it does not already exist.
