The DCE User Data Masking Encryption Facility product allows worldwide export and use of the Common Data Masking Facility (CDMF) encryption algorithm. When installed, this facility enables data encryption using the CDMF algorithm. Because this feature does not enable the full function of Data Encryption Specification (DES), it is not subject to the U.S. Government export/re-export laws and regulations regarding full DES products. The product has one package, dce.cdmf.
