The 3270 Host Connection Program package contains all filesets required for the successful operation of the HCON product.

hcon.rte	3270 Host Connection Program Run-Time Environment This fileset contains all of HCONs main executable files. It includes all files needed to configure hcon to meet the specific needs of the user.
hcon.Dt.apps	3270 Host Connection Program Desk-Top Application This fileset contains the xhconstart application which may be used to start xhcon from the AIX Common Desktop Environment Application Manager.
hcon.Dt.icons	3270 Host Connection Program Desk-Top Icon This fileset contains the definition files to draw the custom icons for xhcon.
hcon.X11	3270 Host Connection Program for AIXwindows This fileset contains the xhcon application which may be used to provide an AIXwindows interface for the HCON program.
hcon.util	3270 Host Connection Program Utility Programs This fileset contains the hconutil application which may be used to customize HCON and to provide automation for logon and file transfers.
hcon.adt	3270 Host Connection Program Application Development Toolkit This fileset contains example and configuration files for the autolog process and include files which may be used for custom file transfer control applications.
hcon.prod	3270 Host Connection Program Productivity Files This fileset contains the HLLAPI library and include files which enable the user to create a custom application to program interface. It also includes the file transfer executable for the HCON product.

The 3270 Host Connection Program software requires approximately 4.2MB of disk space.

Requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.
