If you have already installed AIX Version 4.3, and you only want to install optional software products or service updates, go to "Installing Optional Software and Service Updates" to install either bundles of software or individual software packages and filesets.
You may also need to perform some of the tasks described in "Maintaining Optional Software". For detailed information about software packaging and software installation functions, refer to "Optional Software Installation and Update Concepts".
