About the Topic and Task Index
The Topic and Task Index is a comprehensive
list of topics within the following high-level task groupings: Using, Managing,
Programming, and Problem Solving. It is designed to navigate you as quickly
as possible to the topic and tasks in which you are interested.
The information is in an information base that
is made up of many articles--almost like a large encyclopedia. There are four
types of articles in the information base. They are:
- Navigation
- Navigation articles help you locate information in the information base.
You may be led through a series of navigation articles
until it is apparent which of the other types of information you should read.
- Procedure
- Procedure articles tell you step by step how to do a task.
- Reference
- Reference articles describe commands, subroutines, and other system functions.
- Concept
- Concept articles introduce various aspects of the system.
