Readme File for the installation of Netware Drivers for the IBM FAStT Management Suite Java (MSJ) This README file contains the latest information about installing the Netware drivers to enable the diagnostics in the IBM FAStT MSJ for NetWare 5.1. Note: Until such time as these drivers (or a later version) are formally released by IBM, they should be removed after FAStT MSJ is no longer required and the system restored to it's original configuration. FAStT MSJ requires drivers to be at 6.50k or later. - Install either the debug driver (QL2X00D) or the standard driver (QL2X00) for the HBA(s) you have in your system. 2.0 CHANGE HISTORY ------------------ 08/29/2001: Initial release 02/08/2002: Added support for 2300 03/13/2002: Re-issued with FAStT MSJ 2.0 rls 32. See FAStT MSJ readme for change history 3.0 OS SUPPORT -------------- These drivers have been tested with FAStT MSJ version 2.0 rls 33 and Novell NetWare 5.1 SP2A. 4.0 Driver Installation ----------------------- 4.1 Load the Toolbox Utility (supplied) to allow you to copy files from a diskette to your NetWare server. : LOAD A:\TOOLBOX.NLM /NL 4.2 Copy the new driver(s) to the NetWare boot directory: : COPY A:\DRIVERS\QL2X00Y.HAM C:\NWSERVER where X is the HBA model (1,2 or 3) and Y is blank for the standard driver or D for the debug driver.
