As of 6/18/07,  ECA834 was changed from  AS-REQUIRED to MANDATORY for 9119 systems only.  9406 Model 595 systems should continue installing this ECA on an as needed basis.   

9119 Systems Currently at Release Level SF235:

For 9119 systems with release level SF235 installed, a mandatory ECA was announced on 06/18/2007 to upgrade to release level SF240_320 (or later).  Therefore, customers should call 1-800-IBM-SERV and request ECA834 for IBM to perform the upgrade.
