Xmodem serial transfer program is not part of the base installation.
You need to install the following filesets using smit :-

AIX 3.2.5 you need to install bosext2.ate.obj
(Asynchronous terminal emulator)

AIX 4.x, you need to install bos.net.ate
(Asynchronous terminal emulator)
