Searching

Basic Options

The Search action will allow you to search the contents of this presentation.

When you press the "Search" button from the action area of the user interface, a popup dialog window is displayed prompting you for input. In this dialog box you will enter the keywords that you wish to search on in a text field. Pressing the "Search" button on the dialog will initiate the search.

After the search is completed, a list of matches will be presented. Selecting a match will display the document in the Presentation Area and also will preselect the topic in the Index Area.

Advanced Options

More advanced options may be selected from the advanced tabs; Topics and Advanced. From here you may choose whether searches are to be limited to a particular category or single topic by selecting the desired item from the expandable list. Also, you may choose whether the documents identified as matches contain "all" the keywords entered or if they just should contain "any" of the keywords entered.

Topics

The option on this notebook page allows you to limit your search to specific categories or topics. Choosing the "Selected" radio button allows you to concentrate your search in one or more of the selected categories or topics.

Advanced

The option on this page allows you to specify how the words entered in the text field of the search page are to be treated while searching. If AND is selected, every word specified in the text field must be found for the page to be considered a match. If OR is selected, any word from the list found can be considered a match. The default condition is AND.
