IBM 3153 ASCII Terminal Display - Items shipped with the terminal

IBM provides the following items when a 3153 is ordered:
IBM does not provide any communication, printer cables (serial, parallel).
3153 Keyboard Converter Cable (11L2832) began shipping with the 3153 in April/May 1998. This new part was added to allow attachment of new keyboards (02K0805, 02K0849, 02K0811, 02K0841, 02K0823 and others) which have min-Din keyboard connectors. The 3153 keyboard convertercable kit also has blank keytop stickers to cover the 'Windows' and 'Apps' key printed on the keyboard.
IBM does offer an optional 3153 Programmers Reference Guide (GC30-3707). 3153 Programmers Reference Guide is designed for programmers and application developers.
The 3153 Marketing Reference Guide (G520-9415) contains information on:
- 3153 part numbers (keyboards, video elements)
- AS/400, RS/6000 communication cables
