Crossbrand - IBM Client and Server Platforms Configured for Microsoft's Small Business Server

IBM is pleased to announce the introduction of configured server and client platforms into the IBM Authorized Assembler Program. These approved configurations utilize the same technology, reliability and performance of the IBM Personal Systems Group's PC Server, Netfinity Server, IBM PC, ThinkPad and Intellistation products as hardware platforms ready for use with Microsoft's BackOffice Small Business Server*.
For the IBM Business Partner, these Solution Platforms provide a cost effective base on which to build small business solutions. By providing this offering through the Authorized Assembler Program, IBM has made it easy to order, configure and support. These hardware platforms combined with Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server* and IBM's standard Service & Support, terms for leasing, optional extended service and optional remote technical support offerings create an affordable solution for our customers.
The following are the newly announced server and client solution models currently being offered through the IBM Business Partner (TM) Authorized Assembler Program that can be used with Microsoft's BackOffice Small Business Server*.
*Note: Microsoft's BackOffice Small Business Server software solutions (DSP License w/5 license plus 5 client add pac) are not available through IBM and must be purchased separately.

Additionally, all currently available IBM 300PL and 300XL (with Ethernet communications), all ThinkPad's (equipped with IBM EtherJet 10BaseT PC Card) and all Intellistations are supported clients for these solution offerings.
The full range of IBM options, monitors, network printers, personal printers, and networking hardware are also currently available to complete the solutions.
