IBM ValuePoint - 486DX4 processor FRU and regulator FRU

Service Information:-
ValuePoint 486DX4 50/100Mhz processor FRU p/n71G0796 includes the processor and voltage regulator. The voltage regulator is not available separately. The processor and voltage regulator must be replaced together to maintain system reliability.
Note:-
71G0733 has been released for EMEA use and can be ordered as a seperate FRU by EMEA locations if the regulator only is failing.
Install all 64xx processors with the bevelled corner located at the front-left corner of the processor socket.

Warning:-
If the 486DX4 is installed without the voltage regulator and the system board DX4 voltage regulator connector is jumpered for 5 volts, as the system board FRU is normally jumpered, the 486DX4 will be destroyed when the system is powered on!.
If the processor is not positioned correctly, the system board or the processor may be damaged.
