IBM PC300GL - Diskette drive eject button breaks when cover is removed improperly

Problem:
Diskette drive eject button breaking on PC 300GL - machine type 6282.
Cause:
If care is not exercised while removing the cover, the bezel can catch on the drive eject button which results in it breaking off of the drive.
Solution:
Remove the cover as follows:
1. Remove the rear retaining screw.
2. Slide the cover 1/2" forward.
3. Lift the cover straight up until it clears the frame assembly. The cover should remain horizontal during removal.
Reverse this procedure to reinstall the cover.
