Aptiva - Official Brand Statement for support of Intel OverDrive processors

IBM has designed its Aptiva systems to meet Intel's requirement specifications for OverDrive(R) Processor Upgrades. However, IBM does not directly support OverDrive Processor Upgrades on IBM Aptiva systems.
If you need information about which Intel OverDrive Processor Upgrade to purchase for your IBM Aptiva, or have purchased an OverDrive Processor Upgrade already and need assistance with installation, we recommend that you contact Intel Corporation at http://www.intel.com or 1-800-321-4044 for further assistance.
IMPORTANT: Please retain possession of your original processor as shipped from IBM. IBM only warrants your Aptiva's original equipment. Should your IBM Aptiva system require warranty servicing you would need to return the system to its original hardware configuration as shipped from IBM.
