IBM PC - Diamond Viper Pro / Weitek 9100 problems

Service Information:
The Diamond Viper Pro, Datapath "Tornado" and other PCI video adapters based on the Weitek 9100 controller may not work properly in the PC 300 P75 / P90 / P100 systems. OS/2 Warp Presentation Manager and OS/2 apps are OK, but icons are corrupt in WIN-OS2 and native Windows.
The reason is that the adapter's Windows driver requires PCI burst mode to be disabled. This is a new SETUP option added in Flash BIOS 38 under "advanced features"
