This tape drive is support on all models of the following:

• PC 300GL (6287, 6267, 6277, 6275, 6285, 6265, 6591, 6561, 6272, 6282, 6284)
• PC 300PL (6892, 6862, 6592, 6562)
• PC 300XL (6588)
• Intellistation MPRO (6889, 6893, 6898, 6888)
• Intellistation EPRO 6893

Hardware Requirements for Non-IBM systems:
The 10/20GB TR5 IDE Tape Drive is supported on most non-IBM Intel based systems with an industry standard IDE controller supporting the ATAPI specification, and an available 3.5-inch, 1-inch, or 5.25-inch HH bay. However, IBM has qualified the TR5 10/20GB tape drive only for the IBM PC systems listed above.

Limitations: Some configurations may not be supported.

Supported Software:
The following tape backup software applications are included with the option:

• Seagate Backup Exec V2.0, or higher, for NT (workstation)
• Seagate Backup Exec Vx.x, or higher, for 98

Other: This drive is downward READ compatible to IBM 4/8GB TR4 tape drive.
