LASTDRIVE=Z
AUTOEXEC.BAT: LOADHIGH C:\SCSI\MSCDEX.EXE /D:ASPICD0

Dock2 with 2X SCSI (66G3536) w/ Windows95 / NT:
The support is in Windows95 / NT. You cannot manually add the CD-ROM drivers.

Troubleshooting:
Test the SCSI subsystem with the Dock2 option diskette. Verify the SCSI BIOS has been disabled (Dip switch 1,2,3 are ON and 4 is OFF). Verify IRQ 11 (or whatever IRQ you made SCSI) is free. Remove the HDD controller from Device Manager, initialize and reboot (Win95 ONLY). Verify there are no viruses. Try the Real-mode drivers (above) or a bootable diskette with those on it.

Dock2 with 2X SCSI (66G3536) w/ OS/2 Warp:
The support is built into the OS/2 Warp code. Add the CD-ROM support by going into OS/2 System. Open up System Setup and Selective Install. Under SCSI Adapter Support you want to have "1510,1520,1522" (first choice). Restart OS/2. Now add the CD-ROM. Go back to Selective Install and under CD-ROM Device Support you want to have "IBM CD-ROM II, Enhanced
CD-ROM II". Restart.

Dock2 w/ 4X SCSI (P/N 06H9088) w/ DOS and Windows3.1X:
The latest version of ASPCDROM.SYS is needed. Date of file needs to be 03/25/96.

Install Program: DOSINST.EXE for DOS and File+Run+A:\SETUP.EXE for Windows3.1X:
You must copy the ASPCDROM.SYS to the C:\SCSI Hard drive manually. Make sure to change the CONFIG.SYS to match below lines. (The only change from default install is the ASPCDROM.SYS replaces ASPICD.SYS)
CONFIG.SYS: DEVICEHIGH=C:\SCSI\ASPI2IBM.SYS /D
DEVICEHIGH=C:\SCSI\ASPCDROM.SYS /D:ASPICD0
LASTDRIVE=Z
AUTOEXEC.BAT: LOADHIGH C:\SCSI\MSCDEX.EXE /D:ASPICD0

Dock2 w/ 4X SCSI (P/N 06H9088) w/ Windows95 / NT:
The support is in Windows95. You cannot manually add the CD-ROM drivers.

Troubleshooting:
est the SCSI subsystem with the Dock2 option diskette. Verify the SCSI BIOS has been disabled (Dip switch 1,2,3 are ON and 4 is OFF). Verify IRQ 11 (or whatever IRQ you made SCSI) is free. Verify there are no viruses. Try the Real-mode drivers (above) or a bootable diskette with those on it.

Dock2 with 4X SCSI (P/N 06H9088) w/ OS/2 Warp:
The support is built into the OS/2 Warp code. Add the CD-ROM support by going into OS/2 System. Open up System Setup and Selective Install. Under SCSI Adapter Support you want to have "1510,1520,1522" (first choice). Restart OS/2. Now add the CD-ROM. Go back to Selective Install and under CD-ROM Device Support you want to have "IBM CD-ROM II, Enhanced

Dock1, Dock2, SAD1, SAD2 w/ 4X/6X Thinkpad IDE CD-ROM w/ DOS and Windows3.1X:
Install Program: UNISTALL.EXE
CONFIG.SYS: DEVICEHIGH=C:\CDROM\IBMTPCD.SYS /R
AUTOEXEC.BAT: LOADHIGH C:\CDROM\MSCDEX.EXE /D:TPCD001 /M:15

When using SAD1 and SAD2 (Select-A-Docks) you will get 2 CD-ROMS with the /R parameter in the CONFIG.SYS file. If you only want one CD-ROM listed replace the /R in the CONFIG.SYS file with /D:TPCD001. This will remove the phantom drive BUT if the system is un-docked and the CD-ROM is not physically in the system the CD-ROM will not be recognized until the Thinkpad is rebooted.

Dock1, Dock2, SAD1, SAD2 w/ 4X/6X Thinkpad IDE CD-ROM w/ Windows95 / NT:
The support is in Windows95 / NT. You cannot manually add the CD-ROM drivers.

Troubleshooting:
- Verify the SCSI BIOS has been disabled (Dip switch 1,2,3 are ON and 4 is OFF) for Dock2 ONLY.
- If your are using a 360, 750, 755C/CS, 755CE/CSE, 755CV, 755CX Thinkpad the IRQ the CDROM uses will be 14 (slave).
- There is no way to turn On/Off the IDE support for the Dock1.
- If you are using a 755CD/CDV, 760CD, 760LD Thinkpad, the IRQ the docked CDROM will use is 15 (slave). With the 760CD and 760LD make sure the CDROM has been enabled in Thinkpad Features.
- If you are using a 760E series (all that start with 760E) Thinkpad the IRQ the CDROM uses will be 15 (master). Make sure you are using the PCI conversion card (46H5994) if you have a 760E series Thinkpad in a Dock1 or Dock2. Make sure the
- Secondary IDE device has been enabled in Thinkpad Features.
- Remove the HDD controller from Device Manager, initialize and reboot (Win95 ONLY).
- Verify there are no viruses. Try the Real-mode drivers (above) or a bootable diskette with those on it.

Dock1, Dock2, SAD1, SAD2 w/ 4X/6X Thinkpad IDE CD-ROM w/ OS/2 Warp:
The support is built into the OS/2 Warp code. Add the CD-ROM support by going into OS/2 System. Open up System Setup and Selective Install. Under CD-ROM Device Support you want to have "Non- listed IDE CD-ROM". Restart the Operating system. Open an OS/2 Window and install "Device Swapping" off the 755WDOCK.EXE file on the BBS.

Troubleshooting:
If you are using a 755CD/CDV, 760CD, 760LD Thinkpad, the IRQ the docked CDROM will use is 15 (slave). With the 760CD and 760LD make sure the CDROM has been enabled in Thinkpad Features. If you are using a 760E series (all that start with 760E) Thinkpad the IRQ the CDROM uses will be 15 (master). Make sure you are using the PCI conversion card (46H5994). Make sure the Secondary IDE device has been enabled in Thinkpad Features.

Dock1 with the 2X SCSI CDROM (66G3536) w/ DOS and Windows3.1X
BBS File: INTCROM.EXE
Install Program: UINSTALL.EXE
CONFIG.SYS: Devicehigh=C:\PATH\IBMCDROM.SYS /D:IBMCD001
AUTOEXEC.BAT: Loadhigh C:\PATH\MSCDEX.EXE /D:IBMCD001 /M:10

You can get better performance if you manually change the CONFIG.SYS file and driver. Copy the FDCD.SYS (from the INTCDROM.EXE diskette) to the hard drive and use it instead of the IBMCDROM.SYS driver.

Dock1 with the 2X SCSI CDROM (66G3536) w/ Windows95 / NT:
The support is in Windows95 / NT. You cannot manually add the CD-ROM drivers.

Troubleshooting:
Test the SCSI subsystem with the Dock1 option diskette. Verify IRQ 11 jumper is in place (Remove Dock1 cover and inspect the jumper block). Verify IRQ11 is FREE in your Operating System. Verify there are no viruses. Try the real-mode drivers (above) or a bootable diskette with those on it.

Dock1 with the 2X SCSI CDROM (66G3536) w/ OS/2:
To install the CD-ROM. Got to OS/2 System, click on System Setup. Go to Selective Install and under SCSI you want to have "Future Domain...9C50/950. Restart OS/2 Now add the CD-ROM Device Support. Go back to Selective Install and under CD-ROM Device Support you want to have "IBM CD-ROM II, Enhanced CD-ROM II". Restart OS/2.

755CD in Dock2 with 2X CD-ROM in Dock2 (DOS and Windows3.1X):
CONFIG.SYS:
Devicehigh=C:\CDROM\IBMTPCD.SYS /D:TPCD001 /P:170 /R (Thinkpad CD)
Devicehigh=C:\SCSI\ASPI2IBM.SYS /D (DockSCSI)
Devicehigh=C:\SCSI\ASPICD.SYS /D:ASPICD0 (Dock CD)

AUTOEXEC.BAT:
Loadhigh C:\SCSI\MSCDEX.EXE /D:ASPICD0 /D:TPCD001 /M:15

Things that can affect CD-ROMS:
- Viruses
- IRQ conflicts
- Cabling. When you pull the Ultrabay tray out for the SelectaDock2 it is easy to pull the CD cable loose.
- Wrong/corrupted drivers loaded
- PCMCIA drivers like Diskdrv.sys, if loaded, may change the CD-ROM drive letter.
- Partitioning the hard drive may change the CD-ROM drive letter.
- Enabling CD-ROM (760CD) or Secondary IDE device (760E series) support in Thinkpad Features.
