Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Battle Beast
Applicable to: United States
To install Battle Beast on your Aptiva:
1. From Windows 95 desktop, click on the Aptiva Installer icon/folder
2. Insert the Battle Beast CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the drive light to go on and then off.
3. Click on the "find install program" button if application was not installed previously or if installed previously, select "show uninstalled programs" tab.
4. Click on the Battle Beast icon to highlight it
5. Click on the install button. Wait for the Battle Beast setup.
6. Click the next button to start setup.
7. Click next to accept default directory of C:\7thlevel\Beast
8. Click on full install and then click on next
9. Wait while setup continues to 100%
10. From the select program folder window, click next to accept the 7th level program folder as the destination. When it is done, click on OK to acknowledge the completion of the install program and click on exit to exit installer. This loads Battle Beast onto your hard disk. For troubleshooting and modem play help, see "Battle Beast" readme icon which was installed as part of 7th Level.
To remove \ uninstall Battle Beast from your Aptiva:
1. Double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
2. Click on the Show Installed Programs tab
3. Highlight the Battle Beast icon by clicking on it once
4. Then click on uninstall
5. Click once to confirm deletion at next window
6. Wait while removal starts then click OK when it finishes. Click exit to exit the Aptiva Installer
7. When uninstalling Battle Beast, the icons may not be removed from the Start Menu until the system is shutdown and restarted.
