Ambra - Missing sounds in DOS games on systems with the BOCA audio card

Question:
How do I correct DOS games that are missing sound effects on my Ambra with the BOCA sound adapter?
Answer:
Follow the steps below
1. From the BBS or internet download the file 
FIXIT.EXE . To obtain the necessary file, click here .
2. Copy the file to the root directory of your hard drive (i.e. copy the file to C:\).
3. Whenever you use the game or games that are not giving you the sound effects type FIXIT.EXE at the C:\ prompt before you start the game and you will then have the sound effects (providing you have configured the game correctly).
Note: this may not solve all of the issues with all of the games.
