Network Station - FLASH: Problems Installing Latest version NSM for NT from download site

Problem:

We have received internal reports of problems installing the latest version of NSM for NT (3.07) from our download site: http://service.boulder.ibm.com/nc/index.shtml . The read me seems to describe a CD installation instead of an installation from a downloaded file.

Circumvention or Solution:

Development is investigating and will make changes or corrections to the read me file as needed.

Here are the three things that you can do with the Web based install image:

1. Full installation.
2. Upgrade an existing authentication server.
3. Upgrade an existing base code server.

Here is what the Web based image will not do (all dependent on switches):

1. Install as a new authentication server.
2. Install as a new base code server.
3. Install silently with a batch file.
